Backup Exec 15 fresh installation to FP4

I  would like to do fresh installation of BE 15 FP4 on WindowsServer 2012 R2 Std.

  1. Can I use iso- image of FP4 directly, or do I first need to install all previous FP's too?
  2. If I unpack iso- image to local disk, does installation work from there too?

Thanks in advance...

If you have a new ISO then FP4 is slipstreamed/included in the build so no need to apply any patches afterwards

FP4 as a stand alone hotifix is a .EXE file not an ISO.

However FP also inclused all presvious FP updates so you don't need 1, 2 or 3 it you have the original gold edition ISO

I have original iso- file named BackupExec_15_14.2_FP4_MultiPlatforms_Multilingual.iso. It was downloaded from veritas portal which was using zipped file name Backup_Exec_15_14.2_FP4_MultiPlatforms_Multilingual.zip.

Thank you.
