Backup Exec 16 cannot backup Microsoft SQL 2017

Hi all,

We recently have problem on create backup on Backup Exec 16 to Microsoft SQL 2017.

After search, I found BE 16 do not support backup SQL 2017 and looks like new feature update also cannot found it can support.

As the article I found is few years ago. I just want to confirm if Backup Exec 16 is still not support Backup SQL 2017. Thanks.

Yes this is still correct; not supported:
You can check the SCL (Software Compatibility List) for your version from this general link:

Just as additional information: BE 16 is no longer supported, hence no new features or compatibility will ever be added to that version of BE:
