Backup Exec 2010 Exchange 2003

Question on backing up Exchange 2003.

Normally when I create a backup job I select the Microsoft Information Store and the Storage Group. I also select the .EDB & Log files in the Exchsvr folder as well.

My backup job succeeds each time without issue but I notice that I get a notification saying that:

"This backup set may not contain any data.

Backup of "\\twgemailbb\E: "

And sure enough there is no data being backed up in that folder, should I unselect backing up the .EDB & Log files?

Thanks

No need to select the .edb & log files, just select IS.

The above files are added in the Active File Exclusion list.
