Is there an equivalent version of Backup Exec 12.5 Quick Start Edition for Backup Exec 2010?

If we have a versione of Backup Exec 12.5 Quick Start Edition, can we upgrade to Backup Exec 2010?

I dont think their is need for BE2010 Quick Start Edition and Symantec do not have a Quick Start Edition for BE 2010 which I confirmed with one of the Symantec employees'.

In Quick Start Edition we wont be able to add ANY Licenses for Remote Agents, Exchange, SQL etc....

Addtionally the QuickStart editions are usually sold and supported by the hardware vendors, who obviously discuss with Symantec if they want a QuickStart Edition when we release a new version.

As an internal support staff member I have access to serial numbers for our options and do have a Quick Start Serial number for BE 2010 (although I have not tried to use it) - so I would recommend you get in touch with your original hardware vendor.
