Backup Exec 2010 R2 has no resources

Doing work for old client...

Using BUE 2010 R2 on Win2003 server.  Current backup is working OK with old file list.  Weekly/daily running OK.  We'd like to add new server.  When going to new Backup job, nothing shows under Selctions/File Resources - not even local server files.

Any ideas?

Do ensure a "System Logon Account" is configured under Network - Logon Accounts. This should be in the format domain\administrator and preferably the same account under which the BE services run.

Do ensure this account has all permissions as per https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH23689.html

Lastly, re-enter the password for the BE account as well just in case.

Jeffd,

Firstly you can check if the account which you are using is locked or not. After that go to the remote agent and check if the published servers name which are given are correct or not.

Make sure you add another remote agent license to cover the new sever
