Backup Exec 2010 R3 Remote Agent browser service

We have an ongoing problem with BUE where the remote agent for windows systems service will not restart without rebooting the server.  It sits at stopping.  We have this at several customers and all customers are using Up to date HP Proliant servers (ML350, 370, DL380, etc).  All updates are up to date.

Anyone found a solution to this - perhaps Symantec????

There are no dependent services that would lock that service (although it is dependent on other services.) As such something in your environment must be affecting it.

Will that service process not even kill from task manager?

process name is bentns.exe

Just for info this process controls the remote agent discovery and how the list of Favorite Resources is built
