hallo community,
ich bin neu in diesem Forum und hätte auch gleich eine frage zu back up exec 2010 R3.
Ist- Zusatnd:
Server 2003 R2 x64 Sp2
Backup Exec 2010 R3
HP LTO Ultrium-3
Ich habe 3 Arten von Aufträgen.
Tagessicherung Wochensicherung und Monatssicherung.
jeder sicherungsart ist ein eigenes fach zugeordnet.
Bei der wochensicherung werden 10 Jobs ausgeführt.
Die Bänder sind alle überschreibbar jedoch wenn ein band nicht ganz voll ist ist das anhängen anktiviert das heist wenn der job x auf ein band schreibt aber das band nicht ganz voll macht wird das band auf überschreibschutz gestellt und das anhängen wird ermöglicht.
Jetzt zu der eigentlichen frage.
ich habe manche bänder die sind nicht ganz voll. z.b. 800GB band ist zu 10% beschrieben. Überschreibschutz steht jetzt z.b. bis zu 30.5.12 Anfügbar bis: Unbegrenzt -Anhängen ermöglichen.
Ein laufender Job schnappt sich aber das halbleer band nicht? woran kann das liegen?

...don't delete it for now. Rather create a new media set under the Media Sets tab, and then configure your settings accordingly.
Once done, open your backup job and then redirect the jobs to the new media sets. You will need to move your media to the new media set all at 1 go, or do so before each backup run starts.

Hi,
The only way around this is to reset the Append/OPP settings on your media sets in order to allow the tapes to be appended too.

nach dem link habe ich alle einstellungen richtig gesetzt.
heist das jetzt das ich den mediensatz löschen muss und wieder neu anlegen?
