Hi guys, the problem im having is that backup exec seems to have an issue with the catalog folder or sub folders under it, the backup will complete fine if I dont include this folder but when I do include the catalog folder it fails with an error saying that a sub directory could not be found, this folder and sub folders exist 100% so I cannot understand what the issue is.

I managed to run the backup and didnt included the program files\symantec\catalogs folder and it worked fine, so dont understand whats going on, another issue that occurs is a communcation error, communication has been lost. I have read many suggestions but cant find one to solve mine, anyone out there got some solutions.

Are your running an actual backup job, or a test run job? The error log you sent indicates a test run, so if that is what your running I would try a regular backup and see how it behaves.

Yes im running an actual job, got the debug running now to see if that can help.
