Olá

Estou com problemas para iniciar o serviço "beserver.exe". Estava funcionando normal. O erro começou depois que parei os serviços do Backup Exec no services.msc, quando fui iniciar novamente ele deu erro e não executou mais. Ele está rodando no sistema operacional Windows Server 2008 Enterprise e o BEDB no SQL Server 2008. Segue abaixo meu "beserver.exe -console".

I have problems to start the "beserver.exe" service. Was functioning normal. The error started after I stopped the Backup Exec services in services.msc, when I start again it gave error and has not carried over. He is running on Windows Server 2008 Enterprise operating system and SQL Server 2008 in BEDB. Below is my "beserver.exe-console".

Já reiniciei o Servidor Windows 2008 mas o erro continua.

Have rebooted the Windows 2008 Server but the error continues.

Hello to everyone. 

After trying all the tips above, I made a software patch using the installation dvd and the service was back up.

Hi rafael,

 

Is the SQL service started up? If not, do so and then start up the BE services.

You can also try opening BEutility.exe and running a repair of the BE database.

BEDB is within the SQL SERVER 2008, along with other databases of the company. Does not have a separate service for him. If I stop the service SQL SERVER go to all my databases. Ja BEUtility used to correct BE database, appears to be normal.

The configuration of my BEDB within SQL SERVER is how MULTI_USER. If I put SINGLE does not open the database. When I send Correction BEUtility it back to MULTI_USER

This is not part of your present problem, but would need to correct later.  You should always give BE its own instance for the BEDB.  Putting the BEDB together with your other production databases is not recommended.  There will be occasions when the instance holding the BEDB needs to be restarted.

Object 13 per the debug is referencing to the Reports CRF.

Using registry editor, browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SYMANTEC\Backup Exec For Windows\Backup Exec

Is there a String named Language on the right-side ? If yes, is it set to _PT or just PT ? If no, create a new String value named Language. Set it to EN and try to restart all services. If its successful, then try setting it to PT and recheck.
