Backup Exec 2010 and Exchange 2010 sp1

Hi,

I am fairly new to both Backup Exec 2010 and Exchange 2010. I currently have Backup Exec 2010 along with the Exchange agent loaded locally onto a Windows 2008 r2 server running Exchange 2010 sp1. I would like to be able to backup to tape my exchange public folders and mailbox stores in such a way that I could restore individual mailboxes and/or individual email messages if required. Could somone give me some pointers on how to achieve this so that I can check it against my current setup.

Many Thanks

Jason Gough

Refer the followimng document

http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO21796

You can backup your exchange 2010 using GRt so that you can restore individual mailbox or message.

You need to make usre you configure the backup exec account with proper rights and permission .

Thanks for your reply, I have had a look at the document but I found it to be more of a general document and was hoping for a more easy to follow how to guide, is there such a thing?.
