We have 4 VSphere VMWare hosts with about 15 Novell SUSe Linux 10 servers between them on an iSCSI SAN. Does anyone have this kind of setup? I'm looking for a backup solution. I`ve looked at Backup Exec 2010 which looks promising because it seems to do Full Image and Incremental backups at the same time in VM. It sounds great but I can't seem to find any reference to Novell SUSE Linux and incremental backups or backups and restores at the file level without the agent. Does anyone have any experience with these products in this config and does it work well in VMWare? I don't want to have to do an agent backup and then an Image backup which is what I'm doing now.
