Backup Exec 2010 on win2008 DC

Dear All,

I'm newbie on BE, can you please show me:

What account is recommended to set as logon account for the following service? and what account permission is used while backup and restore local/remote system data?

BE Remote agent
BE Device and media
BE server service
BE job engine service
BE Agent browaser

Second question, can I use BE with non admin account? If so how to grant permission for such account?

Many questions Smiley Tongue  Thanks your help.

Hello  Use Local system

Hello

Use Local system account for BE Remote agent for all other services use Domain admin

account. Backup Exec service account has to be part of the domain administrators

Refer to the below article for more information.

All the backup exec services

All the backup exec services shuld run on a Domain admin account except the remote agent service.

refer the following document to configure you BE service account

http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH36718

If you installing BE in workgroup the account should be have admin rights on that server atleast

...Backup Exec services ALL

...Backup Exec services ALL run correctly on a DC. If they don't then there is an issue with the service account or a misconfiguration somewhere.

I have 3 servers in my environment that act as all-in-one servers (DC/file/Exchange etc) and run BE with no hassles.
