Backup Exec 2012 - Backup Windows 8

I have installed backup exec 2012 with the last sp but i cann´t do a backup of a machine with windows 8.

i am doing a backup of a machine with windows 7 with windows agent without problems/issues but i cann´t with windows 8.

i know that symantec has a special agent ( desktop ) but i haven´t more information of this.

i want to know if Í´ll can do a backup of a windows 8 machine with windows agent.

Windows 8 is not listed in the support OS list for Backup Exec 2012 (See BE 2012 Software Compatibility List here - http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH175581)

I recommend you to wait for the next major release i.e. Backup Exec 2014 which may have support for Windows 8 backup.
