Backup Exec 2012 Database restore Required in back up exec 2014

Dear All,

                     i have a problem in our production environment we have replace back up exec 2012 to 2014

                    its successfuly replace and we need to replace old database with new one i tried to replace but its shows the below 

                     error message.

                 " one or more backup exec server services has failed to start Backup exec device and media service failed to start"

kindly provide the steps how to restore the database and provide the resolution of this error.

What database you are refering to, is it BE database or some other database?  

" one or more backup exec server services has failed to start Backup exec device and media service failed to start"

What error message you see  in the Windows Event Viewer while starting BE Device and Media service? 

Is the BKUPEXEC SQL service started ?

Back up exec SQL server service started successfuly but in the manage service tab remaining services is not

started its remains constant on 28 %

Do you see any error message in the event viewer?
