Lost my Backup Exec server and a viable recovery option isn't available so a rebuild had to happen.
I still have my DeDup volume intact and would like to re-add it to Backup Exec.
I've tried addding it with what I presumed to be the same account but I get the 'Unable to create the deduplication disk storage' error.
I can create a new one on blank volume just fine so I'm assuming it's a permission/DB account issue.
It's the same drive letter as previously.

The description for Event ID 1 from source spad cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
The following information was included with the event:
25012: Authentication failed, No such user [SERVER]\[USER] !
Is there a manual way to change this. Maybe something to do with the spa.cfg or other .cfg ?
