Hi,
We are attempting to migrate to BE2012 and have the software installed on a server 2008r2 system, the software is licensed, when i try to view selection lists of servers, even the local host the system just attempts to load then comes back with nothing.
In my example i have attempted to expand the local server and servers on other subnets, the agent is able to be pushed to these machines and the account that i am using has Dom Ad rights.
Are there any suggestions as to why this might be happening?
Thank You

Make sure that the Backup Exec Service Account has been setup correctly. These should help.

Hi,
Thanks for quick response, the account is not a new account and is used on several other backup media servers only difference is these are 2010 installs not 2012
The account in use is a domain admin account on the network that i am trying to backup
Thank You

In the Backup Exec console make sure all the Live updates are installed and pushed out to the remote servers.
also try to run a repair see: http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO73260

On the remote servers make sure the Backup Exec Remote Agent Service is started and running under Local System Account. Take a look at Remote Windows Machines do not appear in the backup selection list after AWS is push-installed
