Backup Exec 2012 Registry issue

Hello,

This morning I tried to move my backup server into a new OU. After doing so my Backup Exec 2012 would not open do to a Requested registry access is not allowed error. I moved the server back into its previous OU hoping that would solve the problem but the same error came up. The exact error reads as follows:

at Microsoft.Win32.RegistryKey.OpenSubKey(String Name, Boolean Writable)
    at BackupExec.UI.ViewModel.BEOptions.LoadSettings(RegistryKey hive)

    at BackupExec.UI.ViewModel.BEOptions.Load()

    at BackupExec.UI.ViewModel.MainViewModel..ctor()

    at BackupExec.UI.ViewModel.MAinViewModel.get_current()

    at System.Windows.Application.<.ctor>b__1(Object Unused)

    at System.Windows.Threading.ExeceptionWrapper.InternalRealCall(Delegate Callback, Object args, Int32 numArgs)

    at MS.Internal.Theading.ExeceptionFilterHelper.TryCatchWhen(Object Source, Delegate Method, Object args, Int32 numArgs,

Delegate catchHandler)

I've tried searching for a solution and came up empty handed for this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

...seems like an AD permissions issue and not Backup Exec. If you have a security policy attached to the OU, best check that out.

Backup Exec is not OU-aware.

Thanks!
