Backup Exec 2012 SDR process SBS2011 Exchange question

Dear Support Community,

We are in the process of recovering a server using the SDR cd's and the latest backup from Tape. What will happen to the Exchange Outlook OST files on the clients when the server is recovered as the client OST's will be more up to date than the Server PST's for each account. Which file takes president and what will happen during synchronisation of each mail account ?

Really appreciate a response on this as it will dictate what we do next in terms of getting the e-mail accounts up to date.

I'd suggest starting each client in offline mode and copying any e-mails to a PST (per client) before allowing them to reconnect (as a precautionary measure)
