Dear all,
I'm trying to backup Sharepoint 2013 that is installed on server 2012 with SQL server 2012. Backupexec 2012 sp2 runs on an windows 2011 SBS server. I keep getting the following error:
Backup- Toepassingsproxy werkstroomservice\Proxy (servername\2e4e198e-e6bc-4379-b45f-ea297812eef3)V-79-57344-794 - Error: Unable to query the Team database meta-data.
Verify- Toepassingsproxy werkstroomservice\Proxy (servername\2e4e198e-e6bc-4379-b45f-ea297812eef3) WARNING: "Metadata" is a corrupt file. This file cannot verify.
I have added the job log. The backup exec 2012 sp2 software has the latest updates. When i do a credential check it's all ok. Can someone tell me what this error message meens and what i can do to fix it?
Kind regards,
Ben

Hope GRT is disabled in the backup job properties.
EDIT**
Are there any fields empty for "Toepassingsproxy werkstroomservice\Proxy" ?
Lastly, you may need to enable debugging for isolating the error. Here is a KB on how to enable debugging. Pls post/pm the logs (especially the spswrapper.log)

This issue is caused by a mismatch between the Web Application name in Sharepoint and the Internet Information Services (IIS) Site name. By default when creating a Web Application in Sharepoint the corresponding site name in IIS will be the same.
Plz refer the below kb articles for the resolution.

It would be better if you could get the spswrapper log generated and post it

GRT is disabled. I will read the the tech articals and post the spswrapper logs.
Thank you for the info

Here are the logs but it did not create the spswrapper log. Or do i need to create the spswrapper log with the symhelp tool? The backup gives the error and stops when its verifying the backup.
I did read the tech docs Avkash pointed me to but those are for sharepoint 2010 and that there is an error in backup exec that will soon be resloved.

The logging needs to be enabled on the media server & all servers which comprise the Sharepoint Farm (web server, sql server etc) and the spswrapper will be generated on each of the Sharepoint Farm servers.
