Backup Exec 2012 - Services don't restart on reboot

Hello,

For some odd reason after I reboot the server, only the Backup Exec Remote Agent for Windows (the only one running under SYSTEM) starts, the others do not.  The other services (Error Recording, Device & Media, Server, Management Service, Job Engine, and Agent Browser) are running under a service account with Domain Admin rights.

I can use BEMCLI to do a Restart-BEService to manually get all the services running again and this works just fine.  I run BEMCLI as the same account that the services use so it doesn't seem to be a permissions issue.  I can also get the services running again through Backup Exec itself and do a full restart through Manage Services.

Thoughts?  Thanks for your help!

if you havent already, try running a repair of the BEDB with BEUtility http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH67239

You should check the Windows Eventlog to see why the other BE services are not starting.

Try setting the BE services on a "Delayed startup" and see if that helps when the server reboots.
