Backup Exec 2012, db2?

Hello,

We're using backup exec 2010 R2 with some agents. ( incl. db2 ). I've heared that 2012 doesn't support db2 anymore.

I want to upgrade within a few months, but can i still backup db2 in 2012?

I asked this question because our license from the db2 agent almost expires, and i don't know if we need to renewal this license.

Best Regards

Rob

You may not able to backup DB2 with BE2012 as Symantec has not included DB2 in the SCL.

You can take a backup using DB2's native backup tool and then through BE2012 you may backup the

flat files.
