Backup Exec 2012 error 193 when installing

WheneverI go to install BE 2012 on a 2008 R2 64 bit server I get the Error 193 loading DVD browser plugin e:\bin\browserops.dll.

I saw lots of topics on this error for BE 2010 saying download off the trail site so I tried downloading another copy from there but ended up with the same results.   I am able to get the installer running on a desktop running Win7 64 so it seems tied only to the 2008 servers I have tested on.

Any ides?

Same error if you try to run setup.exe from \be\winnt\install\bex64 ?

This error usually pops off due to corrupt installer...try download from another system where there is no proxy or any firewall/uac set up...

Hi,

Try installing the software from a share on the network. If you can install it elsewhere, then the issue might not necessarily lie with the ISO you downloaded...
