Backup Exec 2012 r 2 multi-server backup jobs

I read over and over agian that backup exec 2012 r2 would have multi-server backup jobs, and i upgraded and still don't seem to be getting it. I either fudged the upgrade, or don't understand where to setup the multi-server backups. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

unless of course the release that came from symantec in the last couple weeks was a service pack and not r2

youre speaking of BE2012 SP2 and unfortunately Multi server was not a part of this service pack. There was some rumoring about this on some forums but this was never stated by SYMC. Im sorry for any confusion this may have caused. Please take a moment and review the release notes for accurate infomation

Yes they were service packs.  see http://www.symantec.com/connect/forums/new-backup-exec-2010-r3-sp3-and-backup-exec-2012-sp2-are-now-available  and if you check installed updates in the Backup Exec console you will see Service Pack 2 listed

I know that this functionality is under serious consideration but OFFICIALLY i cant definitively say whether or not this will be in the next or any other future release.

Edit:

Keep your eyes open for upcomming BETA blogs.. as new functionalities are introduced and or returned they will be BETA'd and information made publically available as it was with this last release of SP2 and SP3.. I really hope this infomation is helpful

For my part multi-server backup jobs are highly anticipated, our backup window had to be expanded almost 100% because of the inefficiency of per-server backup jobs.
