Hello
I have a problem with the new backup exec 2014. My system configuration is a hyper-V cluster 2012R2 with three nodes, and every time that I choose the cluster virtual name, to backup virtual machines the agent crash and the service stops (I thought ok it only occurs on the owner node- false). Meanwhile after I restart the agent service on the failded node, I’m able to browse the VM´s but is not showing all but part of them where the crash of the agent occurs. Ive already restarted all the three nodes after agent instalation.
Permissions Are this.
Any help outhere?

We have seen this in BE2012 but Win2012R2 was not supported by BE2012.This issue should not occur with BE2014. I would strongly recommend you to create a support case so that we can investigate further on the crash.

Try uninstalling, rebooting and then reinstalling the remote agent.

What is your storage system? We are seeing similar behavior on Microsoft SoFS on Storage Spaces. Can backup a VM that is on DAS but not SMB 3 shares.

I would log a support case for the crash.
In regards to SMB and Storage Paces take a look at page 868 in admin guide.
Remote VSS is not supported. In other words, virtual machines with vhd or vhdx
files that are located on shares are not supported.
Any virtual machines that have storage spaces are not supported because
Microsoft Hyper-V VSS is unable to take snapshots of virtual machines with
storage spaces
