I have the server 2008 R2 SP1 freshly installed and installed the Bexec 2014 SP1 on it.
1) When I installed Bexec 2014, i used the built-in admin account (windows default admin account, with the password I already changed and RDP to my server to do the installation).
I restored the backup jobs from the previous BEXEC 2010 version.
2) I then changed the BE services to run under different admin account (that I created). Restarted the BE services successfully
3) Via BE2014 console -> Configuration & Setting -> Logon Account Management -> I added in another admin account and password. This account is purposely for the BE server to communicate with remote agent on remote servers.
My backup jobs for the remote servers are working fine.
However, when I run the backup job that backup the folder from the local drive (F: or D:) on my backup server, it says "The logon account that was provided does not have valid credentials"
My question:
1) which logon account that was used to run the job?
2) source or destination that the logon account does not have valid credentials?
3) Can we edit the logon account using BE2014 console -> Configuration & Setting -> Logon Account Management? If so, which password should we enter when it prompt? Owner account password? or the account with username displayed?

Under the Server name in the Backup and Restore tab in Credentials (the Left pane) is the correct account selected in the drop down for Logon Account? Have you tried recreating the job?

It has the account that i purposely added in to communicate with remote agent. That is the account I created/added in #3.
It looks like I got the job rerun successfully by
Via BE2014 console -> Config & Settings -> Bexec Settings -> Logon Accounts -> Select "check logon accounts only at the server level"
However, I still wonder:
2) source or destination that the logon account does not have valid credentials?
3) Can we edit the logon account using BE2014 console -> Configuration & Setting -> Logon Account Management? If so, which password should we enter when it prompt? Owner account password? or the account with username displayed?
