Backup Exec 2014 - removed backup files from the media during restore

Hello,

We use BE 2014 with external hard drives. The backups are usually completed successfully.

yesterdsay I was about to restore couple of files - I connected correct backup drive to the server - went through the restore process and got an error E0008444

I checked the backup HDD and it appears that backup files have been ereased. I tried second external hdd and the same happen - backup Exec erased files from the source.

How is it possible? Never seen BE removing source files. 

Has anyone had the same issue?

DLM will delete the backup set if it has expired.

If you have configured 'Keep for ...' period in backup job, then BE wil delete backup after that period has expired.
