Backup Exec 2014 splitting Domino jobs

Is it possible to split our Domino backup jobs into smaller sets?  For instance, can we backup mail\A-M in one job, and mail\N-Z in a second job.  Creating the selections is doable......but if the Domino server is using DAOS and transaction logging, how does BackupExec handle that?  The .nlo files and transaction logs are shared between all databases on the Domino server.

I suspect the .nlo files and the transaction logs would be backed up twice. Otherwise, each backup set would not be complete. You can test this by selecting a few databases from each range for your two backups and see what are the files backed up

The Domino agent will query for the DAOS NLO files associated with each DB and only back those up for the DBs backed up so no duplication for splitting the job up.  The transaction logs would be backed up with each backup.

Suppose A.nsf and B.nsf reference C.nlo and A.nsf and B.nsf are backed up in two different backups, wouldn't C.nlo be in both backups?
