Help!!!!

I am getting the following error,I assume its because of the MSDE.."Could Not Start Backup Exec DLO Administration Service"

Whats the best way to reinstall the MSDE?

Hello,

What are the logon accounts used by the Backup Exec DLO Administration service and the MSSQL$BKUPEXECDLO service? You can try configuring them to logon as Local System rather than a domain account and then see if they will start.


Revert if the issue persists.

Hello the account logged is the correct one. here is more info.

This specific server crashed and had to be reloaded from scratch.

Installed
Win 2K3 sp1
Veritas Backup Exec 10d

Ran the inventory and catalog jobs.

Did a restore on this server to bring back all the old settings back,these are the errors i got after the restore process finished.

MSDE & Backup Exec DLO Administration Service cannot be started

Under which account is the MSSQL$BKUPEXECDLO service running?

Configure this service to run as a Local system account and try starting the service.
