Backup Exec Install 2012

After the Installation from Backup Exec my Backup Exec Server Service fails. The Event View says internal Error 536813108 and the backup exec server service detect an schema error. Who can help me ?

Would you open a command prompt and browse to the Backup Exec directory. Then run the following command:-

beserver.exe -console

Pls paste/PM the output and is this a new install of BE 2012 or an upgrade from a previous version ?

Not that this helps with your problem but as it might help other customers avoid other running into the same trap I am goung to make this comment:

I am kind of wondering why you upgraded 2010 to 2012 and didn't go straight to 2014

Because of the 2012 single server per jobs limitation, recommended practice for upgrading from BE 2010 R3 or earlier is to avoid the BE 2012 release because you may have to do a lot of redesigning of your backup timings and strategies. If you go from BE 2010 to BE 2012 and then to BE 2014 having BE 2012 in the middle forces single server per job backups which then updating to 2014 can't re-assemble again leaving you with a lot of manual work.

For your actual problem

For some reason your log upload entries may not be visible to all but the schema mismatch error seems to show that the database has not updated correctly even though the progam code has. As such you could try running BEMIG against it to see if that corrects it but if this does not work you will either have to try BE 2014 or log a formal support case (or both)
