Hi,
Continuing on with an unbelievable amount of trouble getting Backup Exec jobs to complete successfully, I have yet another (two) issues that I'm hoping will be the end of this saga.
Situation
Two failed jobs. One backs up disks and files from remote servers, the other backups an NDMP datastore. All go to tape. We have one other job that goes to tape successfully, another goes to disk successfully.
NDMP error: 0xe000fe28 - A network connection to the server could not be established.
Remote servers error: 0xe000FE30 - A communications failure has occurred.
Backup Exec 2010 R3.
Can someone please direct me to some log files or something to troubleshoot this. This has been intermitent and now fairly regular for weeks. I honestly cannot believe how hard this product is to troubleshoot. There is no clear error messages, no useful information in the alerts tab. Nothing.
Log files, any suggestions at all, would be fantastic. Also, if any suggestions are made on "increasing verbosity of logs etc", some instruction on how to do so would be great.
Thanks.
