Backup Exec Licensing

Hi one of my client have Backup Exec Not for resale Licenses, Do we need to purchase maintenance license?

Apart from some Charitable organizations (which do not have support or maintenance included), as far as I know NFR licenses are not meant to be used on production servers. As such if your client is using NFR incorrectly they will need to purchase product licenses
