Backup Exec - Problemas com nomes das pastas

Pessoal,

Estou com um problema em minha empresa, acontece que o backup exec tem apresentado erros por conta do tamanho do nome das pastas (número de caracteres), com isso, o software cancela o procedimento de backup a partir do momento do erro, o que nos tem trazido inúmeros problemas.

Gostaria de ajuda e compartilhar o problema com quem possa ajudar.

If the directory/file is really not present on the machine, go to the selection screen and click on the View by Detail tab.  Search for the directory/file and delete it.

Actually the error occurs because the size of the folder name, ie with many directories with long names.

With folders with names that are smaller than
256 characters have no problems, only with bigger names than that.

Hi,

Individual components of a filename (i.e. each subdirectory along the path, and the final filename) are limited to 255 characters, and the total path length is limited to approximately 32,000 characters. However, you should generally try to limit path lengths to below 260 characters (MAX_PATH) when possible. See http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa365247.aspx for full details.

Pelo visto preciso mesmo é começar uma reformulação na forma de nomear os diretórios, o que não é uma tarefa muito fácil em um ambiente relativamente grande.
