I have an SBS 2011 Standard Server which had been backing up fine but now keeps coming up with the error: V-79-57344-34036. It also shows:
Job ended: 24 October 2012 at 02:33:56
Completed status: Failed
Final error: 0xe00084f4 - An unknown error has occurred.
Final error category: System Errors
This backup runs each night as a full backup to a NAS drive, it is backing up files and folders only. There are no other jobs backing up at the time this runs as I have checked, it is backing up files from the local server on which SBS is installed only. It has advanced file open option turned on with auto select. I have 4 other jobs that run to this same NAS drive all running from this Backup Exec which all run fine. One of these is a full file backup of a terminal server and this works fine. I did read somewhere that enabling disk write cache in windows can fix it. On this Dell Poweredgte T410 server this is not an option, windows will not let me enable it. I have pasted the job log below in case it helps:
