The report says that I have 2 errors......
ERROR 1
Issue:Are the Backup Exec Services & Backup Exec Service Account(s) running with the right credentials?
Overview:Tests if Backup Exec services are running under the right user credentials.
Product:Symantec Backup Exec

Subcategory: Configuration
Test: Backup Exec User Privileges Manage auditing and security Not Set

DOUBT 1: the server is not member of domain and the local policy "manage auditing..." has set the privilege to Administrators and the user installation was maden with administrator!!!

ERROR 2 Issue:Is File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks enabled?
Overview:File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks must be enabled.
Product: Symantec Backup Exec
Category: Installation
Subcategory: Remote
Test: The file and printer sharing is not enabled on the NIC 1

Doubt 2: the service FILE AND PRINTER SHARING FOR MICROSOFT NETWORKS is enabled on NIC 1!!!!

Ok, don't worry, I think is a bug of the tool,  It isn't so importart for me.

SO:  Server  2003 Enterprise Edition R2 Service pack 2
Ram: 3gb
Version Backup Exec:  12.5 Rev 2213


Any idea????

Your hardware isn't an issue.
Read up on how the support tool works here, and see if it answers your queries...

Of course, I had read thats recommendations and this was the reason for that posting was maden.
It's very rare.

Maybe raise this as an Idea...?
If it isn't an issue, I am not sure what else to recommend other than calling Symantec Support.
