Backup Exec .XML files

Hi all,
I'm a bit of a novice with regards Backup Exec so be gentle!
In the directory - Program Files\veritas\backup exec\nt\data
There are quite a few .xml files e.g. BEX02481.xml
Having taken a look at them they appear to be some sort of log file.
Are these safe to delete as the hard disk in question is fast running out of space.

Yes you can.  Those are your BE log files for each job run.  Have a look at Symantec's knowledge base for more information on database maintenance and cleanup.

The xml files located in that directory are your job logs.  If you do not need them anymore then all of the files with the BEX in the begining are safe to remove.  You can also setup BE to automatically remove these files after they reach a certian age.  In Backup Exec go to Tools - Options - Database Maintenance.
