Backup Exec appliace 3600 R2 crashed, How to reinstall without loosing data

Hi,

Our Backup Appliance 3600 R2 OS crash and Bakcup Exec 2010 was in system.

How to rebuild the same as previous.

I think below is the step for rebuild (Please correct me in case any wrong)

1) Format the OS and reinstall OS Windows 2008 R2 with windows patches and antivirus.

2) Install Backup Exec 2010 software.

3) Restore the catalog backup (But in this case we don't know the privous catalog backup path)

  (What is catalog backup extension in Backup Exec 2010?)
