Backup Exec extremely slow - SEP 12.1

Hi guys,

Good morning,

I have in my environment an Windows Server 2K8 R2 with BU 2012 and SEP 12.1.4013 (I do not know exactly what it is) and my performance doing backups is very slow, really, a lot of (23 ~ 33MB/Min) and I know that the problem is SEP 'cause when i stop it (smc -stop) the rate increases for the normal speed (1.500 ~ 1.900 MB/Min)

I've already done the following instruction below:  http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH61909

My settings of the SEP aren't management by me.

What can I do to solving it ?

Thanks for any reply. Sorry for my English.

Hi,

Here's the latest TN around this...

http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH168940

Check it and see if anything differs from your TN you posted.

Thanks!

Hi CraigV,

Sorry for the late, I asked to the manager to change the Policies and then I update the police in the servers.

The problem persists, what can I do for it ?

As you are using a managed SEP environment, would recommend to log a case with the SEP support team to verify if the exceptions are indeed in place or not.

Yeah, It's managed environment 'cause some setting are blocked Sep management.jpg

How Do I view these logs that You comment ?

I meant to open a support case with the technical support team of SEP.
