Backup Exec incremental back ups takes over 2 days.

Hello,

I am having issues with backups going to an offsite backup exec server, Its runs 2+ days.
This is also the same for onsite. Is there a way of solving this issue, perhaps compression or modifying the backup job so it doesn't take a long period of time?

Using: Windows server 2012 r2

If you are using the Archive bit method, change to the modified time method

Compression and Encryption can slow your backup performance but probably removing it won't fully solve your issue.
If you need to backup a remote server using a slow link you can consider using some more advance technology like the client-side deduplication
