Backup Exec selection list hang

I am facing issue in newly installed backup exec  server ... I successfully installed BE 2010 R3 SP1 media media serverr on windows 2008 R2 enterprise server.

And successfully pushed remote agent on 3 windows 2003 servers.

Thease three servers are added to favourite resources in backup exec.

But issue is - when i am expading these servers for backup selection list two of them working fine but for one its not expanding and backup exaec getting hang (Not responding) and every time i have to kill from task manager.

any clue what causing this ?

 

Telnet to 10000 port is fine to the server.

1) Check that the remote agent service is running on the problem server.

2) After you push out the remote agent, did you re-boot the remote servers.

3)  Is the problem server in the same domain as the media server?

4) Is the BESA a domain administrator?

turn on SGMON.exe on media server and that remote server

select first checkbox and capture to file

try to expand the problem server in BE selection and leave it for 5 minutes

(make sure name resolves)

provide the sgmon from media server and problem remote server and we can check

Remote agent service is running on problem server.

server is rebooted after Push install of remote agent.

yes problem server and media server are in same domin.

BEservice account is part of Domain admin.

I have already checked all these .. still not able to expand backup selection of problem server.

better to verify with logs. Open a support case to be sure if the above technote applied
