The backup operators group is unable to access backup exec on our newest veritas 9.1 install. When they attempt to login it says access denied.
On all the other installs when they access veritas for the first time it creates an account using the login wizard. What could I being doing wrong with this particular install?
- Create a new User Account and make it a member of Backup Operators group
- Also ensure that the BackupExec Services account has the following rights. i) Act as part of the Operating System ii) Backup Files and Directories iii)Create a Token Object iv) Manage Auditing and Security Log v) Restore Files and Directories
It is always advisable to use the user account with Administrative privileges to perform all tasks with BackupExec.
