Backup Policy Template

Hello All,

I'm in the need of documenting our Backup Policy along with the keeping a tape backup log.Does anybody have a good template that they wouldn't mind sharing or point me too one. I'd hate to start from scratch on something like this.

There is no "template", each company has a different strategy, different requirements, different expectations for their internal documentation, etc. This is something you will need to discuss with your department to come up with something that works for you.  I can't think of a "generic template" it depends on your setup and specific needs.

As Greg says, you will need to write your own document.  There are way too many variables for anyone to create a template

As for keeping a tape log, take a look at the Media Set Report in the canned reports.  Or you can create your own custom report.
