Backup SQL database On virtual environment

Hi Experts

I have 1 physical server (named as Server A) that contain two virtual server (Server B and Server C)

On server A, i already installed backup exec 20.3 and can do backup for files from server A and hyper v files *.vhdx for Server B and C.

I also purchase an Agent for Application and Database license x 1 license

Can i use that agent to backup sql database on Server C? and which server should i install it?

Since it already backup the vhdx files that contain the sql database, is it good to enough for me to use it for DR?

Need your kind advise.

Thank you

Best to install Agent for Windows on the SQL VM for 'Agent-assisted backup'.
This will enable granular level SQL restores.

Hi Marianne

Thank you for the suggestion. will check on it and try

I already install the Agent For Windows on the VM side using push install. Now i can see the SQL data from the Backup exec console.
