Backup-To-Disk On Remote Server - Not On Media Server

Howdy,


I've set up a Backup-To-Disk folder over the WAN on a server that has a Remote Agent installed. I'm expecting to back up locally to that remote server using the installed Remote Agent and the now local Backup-To-Disk for quick backups. Will that work? Should I expect same server backup speeds?

Your data will go twice over the WAN, so speed will be quite low.
You need to get a BE license and install it on the remote server, too.
