Backup-To-Disk on NAS Device

I have a Nobilis NAS Device with 2 TB of Storage. It has a public folder share. Would I be able to perform Backup-To-Disk on it? Would I need to install a BE Agent on it, first?

No, you do not need an agent on the NAS to make it a Backup-To-Disk target.

just make sure that you do not specify the target via the network drive letter (since when the jobs runs, there is no environment, thus no network drives)

Thank you for the information. I will proceed with setting up the NAS for Disk-to-Disk Backups.
