Welcome to the Backup and Recovery Tools Forum
Our goal is to deliver a valuable suite of tools that are easy to use, and gives partners and customers the ability to assess and report on existing environments to ensure the backup and recovery solution deployed will deliver on expectations and delight customers.
Today we offer The Backup Exec Partner Toolkit that includes three components designed to help partners and end users perform environmental assessments either before or after installing a Backup Exec solution. These are as follows:
Performance Analyzer
Deduplication Assessment Tool
Front-end Capacity Analyzer
These three tools represent key opportunities to Symantec partners and end users, who utilize Backup Exec or planning to invest into a Symantec Backup and Recovery solution. Partners and end users are now able to perform pre-installation assessments of IT environments to determine the readiness of the environment for Backup Exec and realize the benefits of the Symantec solution.
