Backup and Restore Exchange 2007 with BE 12.5

Hi,

I'm not very familiar with BE, and we recently installed and configured BE 12.5. We installed CPS for Exchange 2007. It runs scheduled backups to media server, creates snapshots, and continuous with CPS, which is OK. When I look into folders, it creates everytime it runs in schedule, I can see that they are all updated using CPS.

My question is whether in case we need, can we take whichever snapshot, and restore up to the latest moment.

Thank you for helping.

you can use any of snapshot , it depends on the senario during the restore ... You create check points at different time intervals .

Thank you for your answer.

What I was thinking is that since every snapshot is up-to-date with transaction logs (I can see when logs are copied from Exchange to Media Server, they're copied in every snapshot available, not only in last one), can I use whichever snapshot, and restore to the latest email. I'm asking this, in case of circumtances, or any failed scheduled backup, to be able to restore up to last moments.

I have disabled check points, do you see any large benefit of them?
