Hi All,
Can Backup Exec 16 capable of restoring the operating system of a Linux Server?

We do have a Linux Agent which can do file level backups and restores (Check our Software Compatibility List to confirm which Linux versions are supported.
However if you want to do Bare Metal Restore (BMR) of the complete Linux host, then the Backup Exec SDR process is limited to Windows Systems
Veritas System Recovery (VSR) may be able to do an image level backup that does provide BMR (there is a separate VSR forum as it is a separte product.)
and NetBackups BMR capability may be an option too (also a separate product with its own forum)
