Backup exec 10d

hi,

I had a tape stuck in my libary (Dell TL4000) i have taken the cover off and managed to remove the tape, but back up exec is still showing as the tape in use in the drive and has now paused the device any idea how to remove the tape from the software and un pause the device as the software says it is not paused. Any help please

Right click on server name in devices or the device in BE and uncheck pause.

The best way would be :
Go to the Devices TAB in Backup Exec, right click on every tape and click on disable . After disabling it we can again right click and delete the same. We also need to follow the same process for the Medium Changer..Disable-->Delete

Restart Backup Exec Services, this will force Backup Exec to recognize the Library again.....
