Doesn't say much, but try the following:
1. Make sure BE isn't running a backup job during some sort of application maintenance like Exchange maintenance, AV scan etc.
2. Make sure any antivirus (AV) installed isn't perhaps blocking the BE services from running, and if so, put in exclusions for this;
3. Make sure you have the latest patches installed on the media server by running LiveUpdate.
