Your attached screenshot cannot be displayed.

Have you tried going to Add/Remove Programs and doing a repair of BE.

Open Internet Explorer and make it to your standard browser.

Close Internet Explorer and try to open Backup Exec.

Hi,

Message in screenshot says there is at least one backupexec service stopped; this is the reason why you cannot get to the GUI.

Fill in the credentials, go to 'gerer les services' and make sure all services are started and try again.

good luck

ok pkh, I will try BEDB repair.

There is only one BE service up,the other BE services doesn't succeed to be up!even after a system shutdown.

Can you find anything in the event logs (System and application) when you manually try to start the services in the Backup Exec Services panel and they fail

this should give you a clue of the cause.

So you need to debug the first service that can't start (and may need to log a formal supportcase for us to help you)

The service start order (based on BE  Services Applet Applet restart ordering - which is more or less the depdendencies)  is:

BKUPEXEC SQL Instance

Backup Exec Error Recording Service

Backup Exec Remote Agent for Windows

Backup Exec Device and Media Service

Backup Exec Server

Backup Exec Agent Browser

Backup Exec Management Service

Backup Exec Job Engine

Most of these can be debugged in SGMON.exe and in som case the .EXE files for the service can be started in a 'Run as Administrator' comand prompt  with the -console switch added to debug the .EXE within the command prompt.
